Complete a battery installation with suitable cable, prepared leads, lugs, busbars, fuses, disconnectors, mounting and connection accessories. Battery circuits can carry high continuous and fault currents, so conductor size, route length, termination quality and correctly positioned protection are critical. Check the battery and inverter terminal requirements, permitted fuse type, torque settings, polarity, parallel connection method and communication cabling before assembly. For multi-battery systems, use a balanced connection arrangement specified by the equipment manufacturer or system designer.
