Protection for Solar Panel Strings Up to 150VDC
The inverters and solar panels must be protected against surge voltages. The PV-Guard-150 is rated to 40kA and 150V, ideal for low-voltage solar off-grid inverters.
The device is compliant with PV standard EN-61643-31. The din rail mounted SPD is widely used in solar combiner boxes to protect the solar panels and inverters from surges in voltage and lightning. The protection method is a high-energy Varistor.
